Weekend With Paolo

It was a tiring weekend this week. I went to Hillsboro, OR and visited an old friend of mine, Paolo Aseron. Saturday morning, we played tennis, my first physical exertion since my surgery. I felt great. I thought my belly would still hurt, but I felt light on my feet. Paolo plays tennis regularly, and it was great playing with him. I'm not good myself, and so I'm looking forward to improving my skills so we can play some serious game.

In the afternoon, we next went to see two movies, Blades of Glory and The Lookup. I don't remember laughing so frequently in the Will Farrel movie. Afterwards, we went to the local sports bar. I planned on getting drunk, so I asked Paolo to be the designated driver. Just 3 bottles of Mike's Hard Lemonade did it, and I was talking my ass off to anyone who will listen. (lol)

The next day, Sunday, we went to Circuit City because I was looking for a new digital camera. The model I was looking for, however, was discontinued and it's being replaced by a new one but the store didn't have that one. So we left empty handed and went ahead to the water park beside Willamette River. It was a sunny day, even though it was chilly. A lot of people were out jogging, biking, or just walking. After that we went to the local flea market and saw tons of various crafts and arts made by the locals.

I decided to go start my way back home at around 3pm for the 4 hour trip. I got home and I was pretty exhausted but I still had to do my laundry. Ugh, so tired! All I can think of was to lay on my bad.
