Hard Candy...

... Is hard to swallow.

If you're looking for an unconventional movie to fill up your time, this is a good candidate. However, you'll need a strong stomach as there are a few scenes that deals with a sharp object and body parts that will make you cringe (or more, which I can't reveal without giving away too much). There's a lot of misdirection in this movie and a lot of things aren't what they seem.

The first 20 minutes or so will let you think it's a certain type of movie. After which, the "real" scenes begin. As you watch it though, there are a lot of questions that unanswered. And they're the ones that keep you through the scenes that are harder to watch. The plot keeps you wondering what really is going on. And it's only at the end that everything fall into place.
